Simplicity is the focus of this modern classic decorative vase. Its spherical shape reflects the unending symmetry of life. Skilled artisans from Northern Thailand handcrafted this distinctive Asian vase made from mango wood. Hand-turning and hand-lathing techniques passed down over generations were used in the process. After the wood vase has been shaped, the entire piece is then hand sanded with care, and a medium oak colored finish with a swirl pattern suggestive of burly hardwood is applied. Lastly, the global-shaped vase is coated with a clear lacquer finish to protect the surface.
Our memorable decorative vase measures 6” tall x 7" diameter at its widest point.
Decorating Tip:
This lacquer vase will be the foundation for floral arrangements that are harmonious in form and dramatic in effect. The exquisite vase will also stand on its own on a tabletop or a shelf.
