Handcrafted from spun bamboo by artisans in Southeast Asia, the top half of this tall vase is finished in silver leaf and the bottom is finished in a contrasting black lacquer. After the vase has been crafted, it is carefully hand sanded to a smooth surface. Next, delicate squares of silverleaf are applied over the bamboo, followed by a crimson red glaze. The entire vase is then coated in layers of clear protective lacquer to give the vase a rich, lustrous finish.
This eclectic, tall floor vase measures 44" tall and 12.5" diameter at its widest point. The tall bottle vase is shown with a round crimson red vase found in our decorative table vase section (302-0013S) and shown below in the silver leaf finish.
Bamboo vases cannot hold water, you must use a plastic container and insert into vase for fresh arrangements. You can create your own arrangement by purchasing individual materials in our "Branches, Flowers & foliage section".
