This delicate, elegant vase, whose shape reminds one of the elegant neck of an egret, was handcrafted by artisans in Southeast Asia, who specialize in the craft of spun bamboo. Strips of bamboo have been curved into the shape of the vase, then carefully sanded to a smooth finish, and coated in a clear protective lacquer.
The decorative floor vase measures 44” tall x 12” diameter at its widest point and is pictured on the right, with the 36" Egret vase on the left atop the cube. The Egret vase is also available in 28" size (item 302-0057). Click on picture links below to view the 36" and 28" Egret floor vases.
Bamboo vases cannot hold water, you must use a plastic container and insert into vase for fresh arrangements. You can create your own arrangement by purchasing individual materials in our "Branches, Flowers & foliage section".
