Our classic floor vase is made of spun bamboo and then carefully covered with eggshells. At this point, to soften the feel of the eggshell pieces to the touch, a soft paper is used to sand the edges of the shells. Lastly, several layers of clear black lacquer are applied as a protective finish. This exacting process takes weeks to produce this quality product. A very light taupe tinted stain is applied over the eggshell appliqué, followed by several layers of lacquer for a protective finish.
The tall floor vase measures 28” tall x 10.5” diameter at its widest point. Also available in 36” tall size for a matching set.
Decorating Tip:
This very elegant floor vase shows beautifully when placed on a podium, accent table, or cabinet in addition to the floor as shown in the accompanying picture. Its light color can be used as a contrast to darker colors in the room or space.
Bamboo vases cannot hold water. If you wish to use live plants or flowers you must first place those in a plastic water or glass container and then insert the container into the floor vase.
As each vase is individually handcrafted, each piece may very slightly in form or color.
