Standing 4 feet tall with its graceful, classic shape, this large vase is handcrafted from spun bamboo by artisans in Southeast Asia. The entire surface is then covered with a layer of genuine silver leaf, over which a crimson glaze is applied, followed by several layers of clear lacquer for a protective finish. In your choice of Deep Crimson, a true red (Red hues over silver leaf appliqué) or Ruby(red hues of Dark Persimmon.) Both colors are very similar, merely different dye lots.
The exquisite giant floor vase measures 47" tall by 18" in diameter at its widest point. A large space is needed to accommodate this very large floor vase!
Bamboo vases cannot hold water, you must use a plastic container and insert into vase for fresh arrangements. You can create your own arrangement by purchasing individual materials in our "Branches, Flowers & foliage section".
