This hand painted lacquer lamp combines the striking imagery of a modern art depiction of playful winds of a summer storm, with the ancient art of lacquer painting. Crafted by the artist into the golden multicolor hues of dusk, it is emblazoned with swirls and abstracts reminiscent of Gustav Klimt's works of art. This lamp is individually crafted by the artist, and beautifully adorned using a combination of texture, mother of pearl, gold leaf and paints over the wooden lamp base. Several layers of clear lacquer are then applied to give the lamp a rich depth and finish. Includes a black 100% fine silk lamp shade, and measures approximately 30 inches tall.
